We will be on a cruise in March on the Dream with a stop at Castaway Cay. Our daughter is in a power wheel chair and I wanted to know if they have beach wheelchairs that we can reserve?

Welcome aboard, Kristine! Castaway Cay is an absolutely amazing island and please rest assured that Disney makes sure that it is easily accessible for all guests.

You will be happy to know that they do offer special sand wheelchairs. These are available once you are on the island, on a first-come, first-served basis. The last time I was on Castaway Cay I saw two different spots to pick those up. They can be found with the strollers and wagons near the first and second Family Beach tram stops. Though I don't think you'll have a problem getting one, I'd suggest sending one person from your family off the ship early in the morning to be sure you can get one, just in case there happens to be a large demand for the sand wheelchairs that day.

Please read more about Disney Cruise Line's services for guests with disabilities on their website, as I think you'll find all of the extra information very useful.
    Enjoy your cruise, Kristine!
