Welcome aboard, Felicia! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney Cruise Line! My family and I have been on many sailings with Disney, but that very first cruise is something we'll always remember. Everything is brand new and there are so many magical surprises in store!
Your cruise on the Disney Dream will feature Pirate Night, yes! That's a very popular night, so once onboard, be sure to check out all that is offered that day in your Personal Navigator, the ship's schedule, so you don't miss a thing! You'll also want to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices before you arrive at port so you'll be all set to pull up the schedules, ship maps, menus, and onboard texting feature once you are on the ship. Go ahead and download it now because, though you can't access the schedules yet, you can enter your sail date and it'll give you a countdown to your cruise, in days, hours, and minutes! I just returned home from a magical seven nights at sea with Disney, and for eight months prior to the cruise, my family and I would check that countdown to see how much longer it was until we set sail! Lots of fun!
Now, back to
Pirate Night! Take advantage of some of the after-Halloween sales next month to stock up on pirate costumes and accessories for your family. Then, pack them and bring them for that big Pirate Night Deck Party onboard the Dream. Many guests go all out in full pirate costumes and gear to make the night even more fun! All guests will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night, but if you have more pirate gear, you'll have a lot more swashbuckling fun wearing it!
Have fun planning this adventure, Felicia, and please stop back with more questions as you count down to your sail date!
