Hi, we will be going on a cruise in July. My son won’t be 4 until August. Is there a slide he can go on since he is in between ages 3-4? He is 38 inches tall.

Ahoy there, Tamara! I'm happy to welcome you to the most magical panel on Earth — planDisney!

Your Disney Cruise is right around the corner – how exciting is that? I bet you're counting down the days to your big adventure on the high seas! There's truly something so special about a Disney Cruise Line vacation – it's no wonder my family keeps sailing back for more!

Based on the date you'll be sailing, it sounds like your adventure will be aboard either the Disney Wish or the Disney Dream. Both ships offer unique experiences and plenty of splashtacular fun for little ones, so let's take a closer look at each one to see which water slides and play areas your son will be able to enjoy on your magical voyage!

If you're sailing on the Disney Dream, your little sailor is in for a sea-riously good time! As long as he's potty trained, he'll be able to zip down Mickey's Pool Slide – and with the height restriction right at 38 inches, he's good to go! He can also dive into the fun at Nemo's Reef, a bubbly water play zone made especially for little ones ages 8 and under. It's the perfect spot for some fin-tastic fun!

Now, if your adventure takes you aboard the Disney Wish, your little one is in luck! He'll be able to whoosh down the Slide-a-Saurus Rex, a dino-mite slide located right near the AquaMouse. With a minimum height requirement of 38 inches, he's just the right size for the fun! And when he's ready for more water-filled fun, he can splash and play in the whimsical Toy Story Splash Zone, designed just for kids ages 6 and under. It's a rootin', tootin', splashin' good time!

As you can see, whether you're sailing on the Disney Wish or Disney Dream, your little guy is in for a boatload of splashy fun! From zooming down slides made for just his size to giggling in delightfully themed water play areas, there's plenty to keep him smiling from bow to stern. With so many ways to cool off and play, he'll be making magical memories faster than you can say 'to infinity and beyond!'

Tamara, I hope you've found this information helpful as you chart your course for your Disney Cruise Line adventure! If more questions come drifting your way, don't hesitate to cruise back over to planDisney — we're always here to help make waves of magic!

Wishing you smooth sailing and pixie-dusted memories,
