I have a Cruise out of Galveston. It will be my parents 1st cruise and my family's 2nd. If we get Disney transportation to the cruise do we get to board at the same time or would we have to wait around for our boarding groups to be called?

    Hi Camilla,

Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question; we are glad you are here!

How exciting that you and your family are planning a cruise together. Your parents will especially enjoy their first Disney Cruise Line vacation with you! After my first Disney Cruise Line adventure, I couldn't wait to invite others to join me on my next trip.

If you booked Ground Transportation through Disney Cruise Line for your Galveston departure and you and your parents are on that same schedule (for instance, if you are traveling together from the airport or one of Disney Cruise Line's Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotels), you will be assigned the same Port Arrival Time and your boarding groups should be assigned together.

Your family is going to have a wonderful vacation together! There is something for everyone on Disney cruise. If you did not book your reservations together, be sure your staterooms are linked so that your Rotational Dining schedule will be in synch and so you can make reservations for other activities seamlessly. If needed, you can link your reservations by giving a Disney Cruise Line a call.

I hope this helps your planning efforts, Camilla. Please let us know if you have other questions or need some tips for making the most of your family's vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
