Ahoy, Julie!
In just two short weeks, you'll hear the magical words, "Welcome Aboard," as you embark on your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise! It will be a week filled with
world-class entertainment, culinary delights, amazing adventures with some spook-tacular fun sprinkled in! Countless memories will be made that I know your family will cherish for yEARs to come!
I'm glad you stopped by with your question about
gratuities aboard Disney Cruise Line. You are correct that tips are charged automatically to your stateroom account at the beginning of your sailing. Envelopes and pre-paid vouchers will be left in your stateroom if you would like to place the vouchers in the corresponding envelopes to pass out on the last night or morning of your vacation. If you feel like you want to add more money, you can place cash in the envelope or let Guest Services know you want to adjust the total on your account. This is completely optional, but if you feel like you received exceptional service from one or more of the crewmembers, it is a nice gesture. If you don't give out the envelopes or forget them in your stateroom, your stateroom attendant and waiters will still receive their tips.
I hope I've cleared up any confusion, Julie! Please let us know if you have any additional last minute questions before you set sail on the spectacular
Disney Fantasy!
Best wishes for a pixie dusted time!
Nancy
