Hi! We are going on our 2nd cruise early March. Does the cruise ship have booster seats that have straps. I have a very ansy 2 year old that we still need to use straps so she isn't all over the restaurant. Or should I bring my own?

Hi Julie, welcome aboard! Now that you have sailed once, you know how magical a cruise with Captain Mickey can be. But, let me assure you that no matter how many times you sail with Disney, you'll always make new memories and have exciting new experiences!

I remember my kids being two years old and all over the place! Ah, yes, that brings back some memories! Disney Cruise Line's booster seats do have straps that attach the seat to the chair, however I don't remember them having straps to hold the kiddos into the seat. If you want to bring your own, check out some of the fabric travel booster seats that are available. I see a bunch on Amazon. They fold really flat to save space in your luggage and are very lightweight, and include a three point harness or a simple buckle, perfect for keeping a busy toddler in check!

Disney Cruise Line gives each child a kids' menu that includes coloring activities and games, but you might want to bring a few other things to keep your little princess occupied until her food arrives. You might pick up a few Disney themed items at the dollar store before you sail to bring out as surprises when necessary. Though, as you probably remember, your servers are wonderful with kids and always have some sort of trick up their sleeves to entertain them as well! We have had the most wonderful servers each time we've sailed, and our kids quickly grow attached to them. There have always been a few tears shed as we say goodbye that final morning onboard.

Also, you might consider pre-booking a few hours for your daughter in the nursery onboard so you and your husband can sneak away for some adult time, perhaps a romantic dinner at Palo, the adults-only restaurant onboard! My husband and I never miss a chance to dine there! Oh, the chocolate souffle! We sail next month and I'm already dreaming about it!

Have fun as you continue planning your cruise, Julie, and let me know if you have other questions before you set sail!
