Cruise on Dream 11/3. Would like to consider the BL Dolphin Swim for more personal experience, but DDs 8 & 12 can't swim w/o life jacket. Instead of foot push which may be scary for them, would trainers allow an easy-going swim pull holding onto the fi

Welcome aboard, Connie! My daughter and I had the time of our lives on our Port Adventure to swim with the dolphins at Blue Lagoon in Nassau a few months ago. I highly recommend this adventure!

As you mentioned, you will get a much more personal experience with the swim versus the encounter. However, I do not believe that Blue Lagoon offers a pull or belly ride holding onto the dolphins' fins. You may call them directly to check though (google Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounters to find their website and phone number), or ask when you are there. I can tell you that we did have to wear life jackets the whole time and for the most part, we were simply floating in the water, interacting with the dolphins. The final part of the adventure is when each guest swims out (with life jacket) a bit farther from the dock and two dolphins push (one nose on each foot) the guest across the water. It is pretty fast, I'll be honest, but really a great experience. If this helps gauge the experience at all, my daughter is seven, and she is not an adventure seeker at all. In fact, she won't ride even kiddie rollercoasters, and doesn't even like mild "drops" on rides, including the slight drop on Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean attraction - she won't ride it, can you believe that? She was nervous about the dolphin push, but because of her love for dolphins, was determined to experience it all. She loved the push! She absolutely loved it! Afterwards, she did say it was pretty fast, but she was so happy she did it. I am sure your girls will be too. It is certainly a worthwhile experience they will never forget!

I hope those details help as you continue to plan, Connie! Please stop back if you have other questions before you set sail! I'm happy to help!
