Hello my cruise date is May 18-22 and while I am very excited I am also very nervous because this is our first cruise. We have a 8 month old and a almost 2 year old and I was wondering what we can do to entertain them while also enjoying ourselves?

Welcome aboard, LaTesha! It's almost time for your family to set sail! I understand that you are a bit nervous about the details since you've never sailed with Disney before. Well, let me reassure you that Disney has so much to offer everyone in the family, you're in for one amazing cruise!

If you haven't done so already, be sure to book a few times for your little ones in the nursery. The nursery does carry an hourly fee and requires advanced reservations. Once onboard, you can change those if necessary or add additional times if extra spots are still open. Then, make reservations one night for Palo, the Adult Exclusive restaurant onboard. Again, this one does carry an extra charge, but it's the most romantic spot onboard and has hands down the best food around. I promise you'll enjoy it!
Then, head into the adult district to enjoy some late night music, entertainment and games. Check out my video about date night on Disney's ships so you can get a peek at some of the fun you have to look forward to.

There are also plenty of family activities for everyone to enjoy. You might want to enter your littlest one in Jack Jack's Diaper Dash if that is being offered. It's such fun to see the crawlers race each other in the atrium lobby! Too cute! And don't think that the Youth Clubs are off limits to your family just because your kids are too young to go there alone. There will be a few hours of Open House time each day when parents stay and play with the kids in the Oceaneer Club and Lab. Your two-year old will love exploring those spaces with you during Open House!

Have a wonderful cruise, LaTesha! You'll find so many surprises waiting for you when you set sail! Enjoy every moment!
