Hello there, Stephen! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and asking your excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
It sounds like you are in for a fun-filled vacation later this year! I know many Guests love to do a “land and sea” trip that consists of a sailing experience through the
Disney Cruise Line and a stay with the
Disney Resorts Collection!
You are correct that Guests visiting any of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort will need a reservation before their stay. Reservations may be made through the
Disney Park Pass system as soon as you have purchased your
theme park tickets and connected them to your
My Disney Experience account.
Once you have done this, all you will need to do is navigate to the Disney Park Pass system online and begin the reservation process. This will consist of creating your reservation party from your Family & Friends List, selecting your travel date and which theme park you would like to visit, and confirming your selections. It is also highly recommended that you check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online to verify availability during your intended travel dates as well!
I would also recommend checking out the
“Know Before You Go” webpage before your trip so you can identify any changes that may impact your vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! Some of the updates you may notice during your stay include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. My family and I have found these updates very helpful and have felt incredibly safe during our own recent visits!
Best of luck as you continue to plan your vacation through the Disney Cruise Line and to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
