Hi Gabby,
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question; we are glad to SEA you again! I am always so excited about boarding a Disney Cruise Line ship and being welcomed by the Crew. Make sure to have your camera out so you can video this special moment.
Before we talk about your boarding time, let's chat about Online Check-In, which is when you will input your
required travel documents and
select a Port Arrival Time. Your Online Check-In date is determined by your
Castaway Club membership level. If this is your first Disney cruise, your check-in begins 30 days before your sailing date. When your check-in window opens, you will find the
Online Check-In link under the Already Booked tab on the website or by selecting Online Check-In on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Your actual boarding time is determined after you arrive at the port and complete the in-person
check-in process and your travel documents are verified. Guests are then given a boarding group number after their check-in is complete. To board the ship, make sure to have your Port Arrival Form available. You can use a printed copy, the QR code on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or use your
DisneyBand+ if you have one linked to your account.
Once you board the ship, I recommend heading to lunch at either the main dining room serving lunch or up to
Cabanas. Take a moment to explore all the activities available on your cruise. You can select the heart icon next to the ones you don't want to miss and the app will remind you 15 minutes before the activity begins (make sure you have your notifications turned on).
I hope this information helps you plan for your Alaskan adventure, Gabby! Please let us know if you have other questions; we love to assist our fellow Guests!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
