Hello, How are the crowds and weather 2nd week in August? I have been mothers day weekend. Is the heat the same as then??Thanks..

I'm sorry to say that the second week of August will likely be a tough time for both crowds and weather. The summer, up until about the last week of August, is quite busy because parents are taking their out-of-school children on vacation. Really any time schools are out, you can expect WDW to be crowded.

As far as the weather goes, in August you could expect daily highs into the mid-90s and lows only into the 70s. Of course you could get lucky and there might be a cold snap that puts the highs only into the 80s, but in any event, it will probably be HOT.

You can still have a great WDW trip no matter what the crowd levels and weather are, you just have to plan more carefully and be sure that you take plenty of breaks, drink lots of water, and take advantage of the fun at your resort pool during the hottest parts of the afternoon.
