How are the crowds and weather in May? Can you stay in a value resort with 3 kids if the youngest one is 2 yrs old and in crib? I thought you could, but when I try to book it it says that it's over the max. Help please. thanks

Hi Paula! Before my children grew too old to miss a week of school, May was my family's favorite time to visit Walt Disney World!  With the exception of Memorial Day weekend, the crowd levels in the Disney parks are very manageable, and the weather is quite comfortable during May. Average high temperatures hover in the upper 80s with lows in the mid 60s, and the chances of rain are fairly low.

Disney's value resorts are great for a family on a budget. These fun-themed resort rooms generally sleep four plus an infant in a crib. Children under 3 are considered infants and not counted toward the room's occupancy limit of 4. The Disney website, however, doesn't seem to understand that and unfortunately gives you an error message when you try to reserve a room for four plus a baby. You can however reserve a value resort room for that party size by calling 407-939-5277.
