    how are the crowds usually in may?

    Hi Dianne,

    May is a great time to head to the Walt Disney World Resorts! It is still not as humid and the summer crowds are not at peak because not all of the schools are on summer recess.

    You will see the crowds begin to get larger as we approach Memorial Day week and the unofficial start to summer.

    You may find it slightly more crowded in Disney's Animal Kingdom with the opening of Pandora-The World of Avatar opening at the end of the month.
