How are the crowds in mid Oct? (coming Oct 17th-24 of this year). Worried about crowd level with International Food and Wine Festival. Will the other parks be less crowded?

Hi Jill, Mid October is a actually a very good time to visit crowd-wise. I just doubled checked the Crowd Calendar at touringplans.com. During your vacation you have one amazingly low crowd day, 10/18, which ranks a 1 on a scale of 1-10, and one fairly high crowd day, 10/20, which ranks an 8 on a scale of 1-10. The rest of your trip is on the low middle of the scale. Epcot will have some crowding due to Food and Wine Estival events, but this will be mostly highly concentrated on the weekend. If you visit Epcot during the week, you'll have better luck. I think you've chosen a great time for a WDW trip. Enjoy!
