What are the crowds like during the April-spring vacation? Is is worse, better or the same as June? We've been down the past 4 years-May and June and have fared quite well with the crowds. Thanks!

Hi Jeff! Like you, I've found the crowd levels in the Disney parks to be quite manageable in May and early June. Park attendance levels in April can vary depending on the week of your visit. Traditionally the days around the Easter holiday will be quite crowded, while the other weeks in April will have only moderate attendance levels in the parks. Easter falls in the first week of April this year, and since many schoolchildren are on spring break the weeks before or after Easter Sunday, you can expect maximum attendance levels at the parks those weeks. The first two weeks of April will be significantly more crowded than what you experienced in May and June. However, most children will be back in school by mid-April, and attendance levels in the parks will drop at that point. Beginning in mid-April you will likely find that the crowd levels are similar to, or even a little better than, what you experienced in May.

Wishing you a magical spring vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
