Can I use a crockpot or an instant pot in room, while staying at animal Kingdom Lodge two bedroom suite?

    Hi Melissa!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! As a family of 6, we almost always stay in a spacious 2 Bedroom Villa at one of Disney’s Deluxe Villa Resorts. As Disney Vacation Club Members, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of our two Home Resorts, and so it is a family favorite. We love coming home to the relaxing lighting and soft drumbeats of the lodge. With so much to offer in terms of art and culture, as well as the animals, the resort is truly one of a kind.

One of the very best features of the 1 and 2 Bedroom Villas is the full kitchen. We usually eat breakfasts in our room, and I try to plan at least lunch or dinner in our room most days. We find this to be a great value for our family, and means more in our budget for other activities, snacks, and souvenirs. We still enjoy dining out at least once a day. While at home I am a slow cooker and pressure cooker devotee, using your own small appliances is actually against Walt Disney World Resort policy, so I am sorry you won’t be able to use one in your villa.

While you won’t be able to use a slow cooker, you will find an oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and basic kitchen essentials. Some of the quick and easy family favorites we enjoy in our villa include tacos, spaghetti and garlic bread, and the ever-popular grilled cheese and tomato soup! Near the sports courts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, you will also find outdoor charcoal grills and picnic tables if grilling out sounds like something your family would enjoy. You would need to provide your own charcoal, but grilling tools can be borrowed from Community Hall at Kidani Village.

I hope this helps as you plan your visit, Melissa. Please let us know what additional questions you have as you plan your visit, we love talking Disney!
