Are crock pots still allowed while staying at fort wilderness cabins? Coming in a couple of weeks and wondering if I can put a dinner on to cook while we’re at the parks. Thanks!

    Hey there Cara!

Staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is like glamping with all the comforts of home. It has been my experience that these cabins provide a cozy and magical experience for your Disney vacation. You’ll have all the amenities of a cabin while being surrounded by the wilderness of Disney—it's the perfect blend of nature and luxury.

I reached out to a Cast Member who felt that bringing a crock-pot to cook a tasty meal while you explore the parks shouldn't be an issue. However, it's always a good idea to double-check at check-in just to be sure. This way, you can enjoy your day at the parks knowing dinner will be ready when you return!

When you don’t feel like cooking, Fort Wilderness offers some great dining options. A budget-friendly option is to order a family-size pizza from the resort and bring it back to your cabin. Pair it with a fun game of Uno or Jenga that you brought from home, and you'll have a night that the whole family will remember for years to come.

If you’re looking for a heartier meal, Trails End Restaurant has some fantastic family meal offerings. Our favorite is the Fried Chicken 8-Piece Meal. It's delicious and perfect for sharing. These meals are convenient and make for a great end to a magical day at Disney.

Enjoy your stay and happy dining!
