Hello! We have an on-site stay with a QS dining plan. When do our dining credits load? Can we grab a QS lunch at Disney Springs while waiting on check in time? Also when ordering in person, how can we be sure which credits are being used? Thanks!

    Hi Katherine!

Let’s dive into the delicious details of your upcoming Disney adventure.

I’ve got great news, your dining credits will be loaded on the first day of your vacation. This means even if your room isn’t quite ready yet, you’re all set to start using your dining credits! You’ll have a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with each Quick-Service meal consisting of an entrée and a non-alcoholic beverage (or an alcoholic beverage for guests 21 and over).

While you wait for your room to be ready, I think that kicking off your adventure with a scrumptious lunch at Disney Springs is the perfect way to dive into the Disney magic and satisfy your hunger with some fantastic food options.

The Polite Pig is a must-try for barbecue lovers! Located in the Town Center, The Polite Pig offers a variety of mouth-watering smoked meats, sandwiches, and sides. We love their Baby Back Ribs and the Southern Pig sandwich. Don’t forget to pair your meal with their famous BBQ cauliflower or sweet potato tots.

If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, head over to Earl of Sandwich. Known for its legendary sandwiches, this spot is perfect for a quick and tasty meal. You can’t go wrong with their Original 1762 or the Holiday Turkey sandwich. They also offer delicious wraps and salads if you’re looking for something lighter.

When ordering in person, it's easy to ensure you're using your Quick-Service dining credits correctly. Simply let the Cast Member know that you’re using your Quick-Service dining credits when you place your order. They’ll be able to guide you through the process and ensure that the correct credits are used. After your transaction, your receipt will show the remaining balance of your dining credits. This is a handy way to keep track of how many credits you’ve used and how many you have left. You can also keep tabs on your dining credits through the My Disney Experience app. It’s a convenient way to monitor your credits in real time and plan your meals accordingly.

Quick Tip: Make sure to take advantage of Direct-to-Room Service. You can use the Online Check-In service and your My Disney Experience Mobile App to bypass the front desk and go directly to your room at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

I hope you have the most magical time!

    ~Heather
