Greetings, Rachel, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are in Florida and ready for some fun at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Let's make sure you have your tickets ready to go.
Since you want to visit only
Magic Kingdom Park, you just need a 1-day standard date-based ticket. You won't need a Park Hopper. Just visit the Walt Disney World website and log in to your MyDisney account. Then, go to the
tickets page and select the "Theme Park Ticket" option near the bottom. On the next screen, select the number of days (one in your case) and the date of your visit. Under "1 Park Per Day," select Magic Kingdom Park. Finally, indicate the number of tickets you need and follow the prompts to complete the purchase.
You'll have the option to add
Memory Maker One Day, which will allow you to download Disney PhotoPass photos and videos taken that day. Some of my favorite photos have been taken at the parks – this is a great option if photos are important to you.
Access your theme park tickets via the
My Disney Experience app. If you don't have it already, you can download it and sign in to the same MyDisney account that you used above. The app is also really useful for finding your way around the park, checking attraction wait times,
ordering food on the go, and more.
Make sure you don't miss the truly enchanting nighttime entertainment.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is a whimsical parade with lots of shimmering lights and beautiful floats, and
Happily Ever After is an amazing show that pairs fireworks with projections. It's the perfect way to end a day at Magic Kingdom Park.
Rachel, I hope you have the best day visiting Walt Disney World. If you need assistance once you arrive, you can stop at the
Guest Relations window or City Hall to speak with a Cast Member. Or, you can use the chat feature in the My Disney Experience app. Of course, you can also reach out to us here at planDisney – we're happy to help!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
