    crazy ?...have res at Whispering Canyon at 9:30, would like to explore hotel and see old faithful recreation. Does the old faithful go off on the hour or half hour? Trying to plan time after to see everything. Thanks for the help!

    Not a crazy question at all.

    I am a frequent guest at the Wilderness Lodge. I always make it a point to watch the geyser blow at least once or twice during my trip; it really adds to the north woods feel of the place. The Fire Rock geyser is scheduled to blow every hour on the hour from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
