If we have a CP ADR @8:15 and the park opens @9 how do we get in the park and how early would they let us in? Will the monorail be running that early? Is there anything we can do if we finish and the park still hasn't officially opened? Characters,rides..?

    Hello Dana,

We are here to help with your magical planning and happy that you continue to visit and ask us your Walt Disney World questions. An early morning advance dining reservation at The Crystal Palace, with Pooh and some of his friends from the Hundred-Acre Woods, is a bouncy way to begin your morning at the Magic Kingdom Park.

Because early morning advance dining reservation are typical, resort wide, transportation is running early to accommodate the Guests, so you will have no problem boarding transportation to the Magic Kingdom Park. Your party should arrive around 8:00 a.m., and look for the Cast Member standing out front of the park holding a sign for Advance Dining Reservation, be sure to have your confirmation number. Once you check-in and your MagicBand is scanned, you are welcome to enter the park and enjoy the not-so-crowded Main Street U.S.A., as you make your way to The Crystal Palace. This is a perfect photo opportunity, with so few Guests in the park, so take advantage of it. I have a feeling, by the time you finish dining, Magic Kingdom Park will be open to Guests.  However, if not, know that rides will not be open until the official opening time, so explore the hub area in front of Cinderella's Castle, get that camera out and take some magical memories.

Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and continue to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel for more pixie dusted assistance.
