A coworker bought 3-day parkhopper tickets from our employer in 2006 but never used them. He is willing to sell them to me (for less that I can get them elsewhere). Do never used parkhopper tickets expire? Is there anyway for me to check their validity?

Disney tickets (other than annual passes) are good until they are first used. Then they expire 14 days after that first use. In theory, those tickets should still be good. Unfortunately, the only place to check the validity of tickets is on Disney property. The guest relations desk at any of the theme parks or the front desk of any of the hotels could scan them for you to check.
