Are COVID-19 vaccine required to visit?

    Hi Kancetta,

Are you doing a happy dance? In just a few weeks, you'll be enjoying all of the magic and fun at the Disneyland Resort! I'm excited for you and know you're going to have a BLAST!

While the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort, vaccines are not required to enter the theme parks. At this point, a Cast Member will not ask for proof of a vaccine or a negative test when you arrive. All Guests will be required to abide by the Health Acknowledgement and follow the current face-covering protocols, though, as we all desire for everyone to stay as safe and healthy as possible!

As you prepare for your visit, I'd encourage you to read through the helpful Returning to a Land of Magic page for a great idea of what to expect during your visit and keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about more and more experiences returning. Of course, I also recommend checking out the yummy Foodie Guides to plan which snacks you'd like to enjoy and downloading the handy dandy Disneyland mobile app so you'll be all set to hit the ground running once you arrive!

Thanks for bringing this important question to us here at planDisney, Kancetta. I'm sending pixie dust that you have a truly magical vacation next month!
