Hey there, hi there, Alyssa! Welcome, and thanks for cruising by with your question.
Alyssa,
Disney Cruise Line prioritizes the health and safety of guests and crew members alike. As a result, they are constantly monitoring the national health situation, considering recommendations from organizations like the CDC, and maintaining a firm handle on how the health and safety protocols should be changed based on this information.
Having said that, I highly encourage you, once you've booked your cruise, to follow closely the
Know Before You Go section of the website. The latest information, even updated from my answer right now, will be available there.
As of today, if you are
sailing from the United States, you do not need to be vaccinated, although vaccination is highly recommended. If you are sailing unvaccinated, you will have to provide the results of a negative COVID-19 test taken 1-2 days prior to sailing. You can even test using a proctored home test, which can be done from the convenience of a hotel room if you are traveling in the days leading up to your cruise and can't get to a physical testing location.
You'll want to be familiar with any regulations of countries included in
your itinerary, and if you are not sailing from the United States, check the health and safety protocols of the country you are sailing from. That information is also included in the Know Before You Go section.
I hope this helps you plan the most magical voyage, Alyssa!
Anna
