Can the covid-19 test be a at home test or does it have to be a PCR test?

Hi Amber, and welcome to planDisney!

As of when I'm writing this message, Guests are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-test before arriving at the Happiest Place on Earth; however, although it is not required, the State of California highly recommends that Guests have a negative COVID test of any kind and are fully vaccinated, if eligible, before visiting.

I also want to share at this time that masks are no longer required outdoors or indoors at the resort, with the exception of a few places like onboard transportation or at First Aid locations. Despite this, I still recommend bringing with you a face covering, and reviewing the Experience Updates page before arriving, in case of policy changes.

I'm sending you my wishes for a magical trip to Disneyland Resort. I was there a few weeks ago with my son, and there is something about the smell of delicious popcorn as you walk down Main Street U.S.A. that just feels like the most magical experience of all time.

    Happy planning,
    Lola
