COVID-19 pandemic restrictions cancelled to travel to LA on 2020 and, prior to my tickets expire, I called Disneyland and was told my tickets would be valid since I didn't use them, just need to show them at the entrance when I arrive. Is it ok?

Hi Edgar, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm sorry that your original trip was canceled back in 2020, but I'm also excited to hear that you are ready to reschedule your vacation.

If your tickets expired, you need to use your unused tickets to purchase new valid theme park tickets. You can do so either in advance by speaking with a Cast Member on the phone or in person by visiting one of the ticket booths at Disneyland Resort. However, I recommend securing your new tickets in advance. To visit a Disneyland Resort theme park, Guests are required to have both a theme park ticket AND a reservation. If you wait until you're in person, there is a strong likelihood the date you visit may not have any available reservations.

Good luck finalizing your plans to travel to California! And make sure to leave plenty of room in your suitcase, because there is always something fun to buy at Disneyland Resort. My favorite store is the World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District. I have a hard time leaving there empty-handed!

    Happy planning,
    Lola
