Hi there, Judith!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
In these unprecedented times, I completely understand your decision of taking precautions. I had a reservation this month that we had to reschedule; and although a few tears (more mine than anyone else’s) where shed, I truly believe it’s never a “goodbye” when you cancel a reservation to The Most Magical Place on Earth! It’s a see-ya real soon, pal!
Judith, upon researching the
Walt Disney World Resort Operations page —I highly recommend you keep checking this page for all updates regarding Walt Disney World Resort, I learned that unexpired multi-day theme park tickets with unused days, or date specific theme park tickets with a start date beginning March 12th through the end of the actual closure period will automatically be extended to use any date through December 15, 2020. If you are unable to visit by then, you can apply the value of the wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date! The unused tickets will not lose value and can be applied towards future tickets! I also chatted with a wonderful Cast Member who said this would also be the policy for your
Special Event tickets.
I truly hope you experience
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the future, Judith. It is by far my very favorite special event at
Walt Disney World Resort. The spook-tacular celebration where adults and children alike can dress up like their favorite Disney characters and collect treats around the Park is as magical as it gets!
I know how hard it is when magical vacations come to a halt. A great way to chEAR up is to bring the magic to your home! The
Disney Parks Blog has done a wonderful job in helping us do this! They have released a ton of delicious special recipes of our favorite treats from the Parks. So far, I’ve made the scrumptious
Grey Stuff from
Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park and the delectable
Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich from
Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Judith, if you ever have any questions about The Most Magical Place on Earth, we’re all ears!
