Hi Bryan,
It has been a tough year, but I'm so glad to hear that you survived your battle with COVID-19 and hope you'll be able to celebrate with a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth sometime soon!
I certainly understand that wearing a face covering may be prohibitive for you after all you've been through. At this time, however, there are currently no exceptions to
Disney's policy regarding face coverings. All Guests ages 2 and up must wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth at all times except while eating, drinking, or taking an outdoor photo, although they must be stationary and physically distanced from other Guests before removing their masks. There are also
relaxation stations available in all of the theme parks where Guests can remove face coverings for a bit, and of course, the policy does not require mask usage while swimming. If you feel like this policy may be too restrictive for your health needs, I'd encourage you to postpone your visit until face coverings are no longer required. While we don't know when that will be, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog or
Disney's social media channels for any updates or announcements.
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Bryan, and please feel free to come back and see us any time you have a Disney-planning question. I'm sending pixie dust that your health will continue to improve and it won't be long before all your Disney dreams are coming true.
