Ashley from MI Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My cousin has a ticket that she bought and wanted to link for our next trip, the ticket is with a park hopper. We linked her ticket to our account/my Disney experience, but when we go to reserve a park for the day she wants to use it, it won’t allow us.

Hi Ashley and welcome to planDisney! A Summertime visit to the Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a great time to me! Thanks so much for stopping in to visit us with your planning question!

After linking your cousin’s ticket to your My Disney Experience account, make sure it’s assigned to her. You can do this by logging in to your account, click on “Tickets and Memory Maker” to see the theme park tickets linked to your account, then on the right-hand side of your screen, it will say “Reassign Ticket.” You can then assign the ticket to your cousin. Once everyone in your party has a ticket assigned to them, click on “Park Reservations” to make your park selections. You can also check the availability calendar to make sure the park you want to visit is available for your vacation dates.

Ashley, your cousin might not be able to reserve her Disney Park Pass because the park she is wanting to visit may not have availability. In that case, try to move your vacation dates around a bit to make sure you’re able to visit the park of your choice during your vacation.

As you continue to plan your next magical visit, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It’s a great place to keep tabs on all the fun offerings and activities at the theme parks during your vacation.

I hope I’ve been helpful! Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions! You can also follow us on Instagram for more planning tips.

    Have a great visit!
