Hi! My cousin and I are beginning to plan our second and fourth trip, respectively, and I am wondering if there any kinds of discounts for college students. Anything to do with staying at a Disney Hotel, park tickets, and/or dining plans would be great!

    Hi Maddy,

I have a daughter in college and completely understand your desire to economize. Unfortunately, there are no specific student discounts at Walt Disney World. (There aren't any senior citizen discounts either.)

There are however, many other discounts that you may be able to take advantage of. I suggest that you head over to the independent fan website MouseSavers.com. Mouse Savers tracks literally every possible Disney related discount, from special room rate promotions to restaurant coupons.

Overall, the biggest way to save money is to choose the right time of year to visit. Room rates in the off season can be as much as 30% less than rooms during peak times like the holidays. Your school schedule might not allow for visits during these times, but it never hurts to look closely at the calendar for long weekends that your school might have off during value rate times.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
