Hi. What counts as proof of residency for theme park admission? Can I use my CA driver’s license and my California ID card as proof of residency? My friend and I made reservations, but as separate parties linked to my Own Disney account. Can we still go?

    Hi Juan,

Ohmygoodness...this time tomorrow, you'll be at "The Happiest Place on Earth" soaking up all of the magic and fun! Are you practically bursting with excitement and anticipation?

I'm happy to let you know that any official state-issued ID should be fine to prove your residency once you arrive. It sounds like you have that, so you're good to go! As long as your friend is also a California resident, you'll be able to share the magic and joy together, and make memories you'll both cherish for years to come! Disney is currently requiring that parties are no larger than three households, so you're good to go with that requirement, too. Your theme park ticket is purchased, your reservations are made, and now you just have one more sleep until all your Disney dreams can come true!

As you prepare for your visit, you may want to look through the helpful Know Before You Go pages just so you're aware of what to expect. Or, my fellow planDisney panelist Tiffanie shares some awesome information in this fantastic video, too. While some things may feel a bit different right now, I assure you that the magic is alive and well, and you're going to have a BLAST!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Juan, and have a truly magical visit tomorrow!
