    Are the countries in Epcot open during extra magic hours? We are hoping to visit the bars and restaurants during that time. Thank you!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alicia. There’s so much to look forward to during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this spring!

    I’m so happy to answer your question, because you’ve just mentioned two of my favorite things! I love visiting the Epcot theme park at night and Extra Magic Hours are my favorite benefit of being a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest!

    During night time Extra Magic Hours, you will be able to enjoy Epcot’s Future World as well as all of the attractions, shows and eateries at the World Showcase. A good way to know when those additional hours will be available to you, is by keeping an eye on the Park Hours Calendar. It’s a tool I use to plan every one of my family’s visits. 

    You’re in for a treat! Your dates coincide with the 2018 Epcot International Food & Garden Festival! There are so many beautiful topiaries to enjoy and be sure to visit any of the outdoor kitchens along the World Showcase. They offer delicious and unique bites! Right now, they are scheduled to be open until 9:00 p.m. throughout the month of May.

    Alicia, since you are planning on visiting World Showcase at night, you won’t want to miss IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. It’s my favorite fireworks spectacular at the Walt Disney World Resort and any spot around the lagoon is sure to offer a great view!
