Hello, my fellow South Carolinian! I am so glad you stopped by with this boo-rrific question.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Walt Disney World Resort special event that my daughters look forward to every year, for one specific reason - the Headless Horseman! When the lights dim, the music begins to play, and you begin to hear the sharp sound of the horse's hoofs clopping toward you, gather your children close and get ready for a spooktacular moment!
While specific plans for this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not yet been released, I do know that in years' past, the Headless Horseman has heralded the beginning of both of the "Boo to You" Halloween Parades, usually scheduled at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. In my experience, the second parade has been far less crowded than the first, and we have easily staked out great spots along the parade route between 20 and 30 minutes before they step off in Frontierland.
While we do look forward to the "Boo To You" Halloween Parade each year, this year I think I am even more excited about the new Castle Forecourt Stage show - the
"Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular." The Sanderson Sisters from
Hocus Pocus plan to cast spells on the party Guests with the help of many of our favorite Disney villains each evening. I remember watching this movie with my family as a kid, so I cannot wait to see what Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson have brewing! Be sure to check the party map for specific times for this show, the parade, and all other special treats planned during the party.
I hope you have a great time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Amanda. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
