    When do counter service restaurants typically close for the evening at the parks? Once, we were at H.S. for EMH and couldn't find anywhere to eat - we want to plan ahead this time and eat before everything closes. Any general tips you could provide? Thx

    Wow! I am sorry this happened to you. I guess we never eat that late to worry about finding a meal as the parks begin to close. Plus my family will make a meal out of popcorn.

    In general, there should be one quick service restaurant open during Extra Magic Hours. In Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would try Sunset Ranch Market located near Tower of Terror or the ABC Commissary for food late at night.

    Another tip would be to ask the cast members when you arrive at the park which restaurants will be open during Extra Magic Hours. 

    My family usually makes an Advance Dining Reservation for dinners so we make sure we have a good meal in us before heading out for the evening. This also allows us just to be looking for a snack later at night versus an entire meal.
