What counter service restaurants would you recommend for delicious, vegetarian options at each of the four parks? We travelling on 3/4/09.

Hi, Sonia!  There are some great locations throughout Walt Disney World that offer vegetarian options.  I am giving answers based on the assumption that you do eat cheese.  I hope you'll find something on the list that works with your dietary considerations.

At Animal Kingdom, you can get plain cheese pizza at Pizzafari, or you can choose a vegetarian burger at Restaurantosaurus.  Most of the other vegetarian options are going to be available at sit down locations only, but my 17 year old daughter, formerly a vegetarian, loved the veggie burger at Restaurantosaurus.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can find the vegetarian burger at Rosie's All American Cafe; a garden salad and cheese pizza at Catalina Eddie's, and a Greek salad at the Studio Catering Company.  You can also get a bagel with cream cheese at Starring Rolls, and a grilled vegetable sandwich at the Back Lot Express.

Your options at the Magic Kingdom include Cosmic Ray's, where you can get a vegetarian wrap or a veggie burger.  The Egg Roll Wagon has a vegetable egg roll that is pretty good, and the Golden Oak Outpost has a vegetarian flatbread wrap.  Pecos Bill features the veggie burger, and the Pinocchio Village Haus has a Mediterranean salad, as well as a vegetable or plain cheese pizza.  The seasonally open Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station has a vegetable noodle bowl, or tofu with steamed rice.

EPCOT has many options.  You'll find a vegetable wrap at the Electric Umbrella, and several options at the Sunshine Seasons Food Court - including a grilled vegetable Cuban sandwich.  And the World Showcase has everything from vegetable stir-fry at the Lotus Blossom Cafe to a vegetable platter at the Tangierine Cafe.

I don't think you'll have any trouble at all finding options, and many of the counter service restaurants will have at least one choice that fits a vegetarian diet.
