I couldn't get a reservation for 6 at Be Our Guest for dinner so I made two different reservations, one for 4 and one for 2 under the 2 family names travelling in our party. Is there any chance when we get there that they would be able to put us together?

Bonjour Maureen!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! You are going to love dining in the enchanting Be Our Guest Restaurant! I have enjoyed having lunch in the mysterious West Wing at Be Our Guest Restaurant twice now and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! I wish I had a more definitive answer for you. Based on my own personal experience, I have needed to make two separate Advanced Dining Reservations in the past to accommodate a party of eleven. When we arrived at our dining location, the restaurant was able to seat our two parties at the same table. With that being said, it may depend on where the two tables are located at Be Our Guest Restaurant and where availability is at the time of your arrival.  I would definitely recommend asking if both parties can sit together when you check-in for your Advanced Dining Reservation. I have always found that Disney cast members try their best to accommodate requests when possible.  You may also want to keep checking to see if availbility opens up closer to your date of arrival, which will accommodate all six of you.  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Maureen!
    Happy Planning,
