I couldn't get dinner ADR for 2 at Ohana during our stay in Nov. Any chance of getting in without ADR on a weeknight (11/17-11/20), or would we be wasting our time? What's the best strategy? We do have ADR for Turf; is that just as nice?

    Hello, Beth!

A dinner at 'Ohana is one of the most memorable meals at the Walt Disney World Resort. Sure, the food is hearty and delicious, but the thing that most sets 'Ohana apart from other dining experiences is the selection of family-favorite games and entertainment at dinner. Children are encouraged to participate in coconut races, hula hoop and dance to festive island music.

I do not think it would be a waste of time to try for a table if you are unable to secure an advance dining reservation before your trip, as you never know where the pixie dust may fall. Guests do change plans at the last minute, and I think it would be a good idea to keep checking back to see if a reservation becomes available to help you save some time and possible disappointment on your vacation.

The Turf Club Bar & Grill at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a very different dining experience than dinner at 'Ohana, with a more refined feel and savory steaks, fish and pasta entrees. If you would prefer to go with a guaranteed reservation, then I would recommend sticking with your arranged dinner at The Turf Club Bar & Grill. I personally prefer to have all dining reservations in place so my family and I can eliminate any additional anxiety or confusion around meal times, but I know not everyone feels the same.

I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Beth! Please don't hesitate to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any additional questions. Hope to see ya real soon!
