Welcome to planDisney, John. Thanks for swimming by with this question. Although Dory questioned, "What's so great about plans?" Disney Cruise Line vacations do require a little bit of planning. Luckily, there are several resources, helpful even to those who might have
short-term remembory loss.
There are so many variables to charting the course of your adventure at sea, including as you noted the days at sea, the number of fish in your school, and the ages of your little Squirt. The number of dollars you need to shell out also depends on other factors like the time of year, destination and stateroom type.
The easiest way to navigate these waters is
Disney Cruise Line: "Find a Cruise." The first screen asks you when you want to sail the big blue world, the destinations you are interested in, the departure ports, and the number of people sailing. Based on your selections, you will get a list of cruises. On this page, you can sift through the options by adding more filters, like the number of nights. You will see a list of cruises by date with starting prices. To get the cost of a particular stateroom, just keep swimming. Pick the date and then select a stateroom type (like Indoor, Oceanview, Verandah or Concierge) and follow the prompts to pick a specific stateroom for your family. Once your cruise and stateroom are chosen, you will get a cost based on all your preferences. You can add this to your cart and check out, or you can just shop the tanks.
If speaking whale is more your style, you can also
call and talk with a Cast Member about itineraries and pricing. There are so many magical 4-night sailings from Port Canaveral, Galveston, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale and New Orleans. You can now book cruises through May 2025, and Summer 2025 itineraries should be announced in the next few months.
I hope you find something totally sweeeeeet that has you saying "Woah, totally awesome dude!"
