Welcome to planDisney, Allen! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today.
I totally get where you're coming from. Sometimes it feels like it would make sense to have a later-in-the-day ticket option, especially on a holiday when you might have plans earlier in the day. But at Walt Disney World, all tickets are full-day tickets, which means there aren't partial-day or evening-only tickets available. Even if you plan to arrive at 5:00 PM on Christmas Day, you'd still need to purchase a standard single-day admission ticket for that date.
The price of the ticket isn't based on the time of day you enter the park, but rather on the date you're visiting and which theme park you plan to enjoy. The best way to find the exact cost for a Christmas Day ticket is to head over to the
ticketing page on the Walt Disney World website or open up the
My Disney Experience app. Navigate to the calendar and select December 25th, and you'll get the current pricing for each of the four Theme Parks for that specific date.
It's also worth keeping in mind that even if you're entering later in the day, your ticket gives you access until the park closes at night, and Christmas Day is filled with extra magic and festive decorations to make even just a few hours in the park feel very special and packed with
holiday memories.
I hope this answers your question, Allen, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
