Merriest Greetings, Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for bringing your question our way.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my favorite place in the entire world. Maybe it’s the heavenly scent of the Disney Resort hotel or the welcoming Cast Members as you enter through the soaring lobby and enjoy the elegant ambiance as you hear the sweet sound of piano notes playing; whatever it is, I hope you find the Resort hotel to be simply magical, as I do!
It’s also home to my favorite
Disney gingerbread display; the Gingerbread House is life-sized with plenty of sweet delights and decorations! You’ll find over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread and the best part? The display has treats available for purchase! While you admire it, you can also purchase freshly baked items such as Gingerbread Mickeys and Shingles, Stollen Bread, Brownie Christmas Tree, and Gingersnap Cookies!
Jennifer, I’m happy to tell you that you do not have to pay to visit the seasonal display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s lobby. Although the freshly baked treats are available to purchase, you’re welcome to visit and enjoy the stunning display. You’ll also find a massive Christmas tree with ornaments, garland, and gorgeous decorations! It’s truly a sight to behold and leaves me in awe every time.
You’ll want to note that
parking is limited to Guests staying at the Disney Resort hotel or with a dining reservation. This is why I recommend visiting on a day you’re at one of the theme parks. If you’re visiting
Magic Kingdom Park, you’re welcome to take the
Disney Monorail to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to enjoy the festive decorations.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Jennifer!
Aena
