As you may know, the
Lightning Lane Premier Pass grants each Guest one-time access to every available Lightning Lane attraction (including both Multi Pass and Single Pass selections) with the flexibility to ride whenever you’d like. Available in limited quantities, the Premier Pass can be purchased by all Guests, including those with single-day theme park tickets, up to seven days before arrival. Unfortunately, as the price of Lightning Lane Premier Pass varies by date and demand, the exact price for the date of your visit will not be published in
the Disneyland App until a week prior. However, if you would like to see the current prices for the Premier Pass, you can view them now in the Disneyland app. This could be helpful for you to see the different fluctuations in price, over the course of seven days.
Another great choice is the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. With this option, you’ll be able to book return times in advance for select attractions in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. You can purchase it alongside your theme park tickets or add it later through the Disneyland app. Unlike the Premier Pass, the price for your Multi Pass will lock in at the time you buy your tickets, which can help you plan your spending with more certainty.
If you decide the Multi Pass feels like the right fit, here’s a little Q-Tip for you: you might be able to hold more than one reservation at a time. After you book a Lightning Lane, you’ll be able to make your next one once you’ve either used it or two hours have passed, whichever comes first. For example, if you grab a Matterhorn Bobsleds return time for the afternoon at 9:00 a.m., you could still secure a Haunted Mansion reservation by 11:00 a.m. without losing your original spot. I like to set reminders on my phone to nudge me when it’s time to book my next selection so I never miss a chance to dash between adventures.
