What is the cost for Characters in Flight? All I could find was that is stays up for about 6 minutes. How long is the wait and do you think it is worth it?

Hi, Jaynee!   My family and I had a chance to experience Characters in Flight in June and we loved it!  I was really surprised how much fun it was.   The whole flight takes about 10 minutes and costs $16 for adults and $10 for kids ages 3 - 9  (prices subject to change.)   You do not need reservations.

We went on sunny day and the view was awesome!  It was neat to see the WDW property from this vantage point.   It was a hot day (in the 90's) but once in the air, the breeze was great and the balloon keeps you shaded.

I think it is worth the money.   It is one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences!  To see my family on Characters in Flight, go to www.disneyworldmoms.com and click on "New videos with Kris Allen."   All the Moms Panel videos will show up and click on Characters in Flight.

I hope you give this a try, it is a lot of fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
