Hello. I would like to see a cost break down of my resort stay and the cost for tickets. I only see the whole total, is there a way I can do this?

Welcome to planDisney, Christiana! Walt Disney World Resort visits are magical, but paying the piper always comes due. Let's look at the best way to see a cost breakdown for your upcoming visit.

It sounds like you booked a vacation package that bundled your Disney Resort Hotel and Theme Park Tickets together. You could have added Memory Maker and a Disney Dining Plan, as well.

The advantage to booking a package is the convenience of only paying one deposit and the flexibility of making changes within your allotted window. Once you specify that you're booking a package instead of a room-only reservation, the costs are all bundled together.

I chatted with a frugal Cast Member named Thompson who said there isn't a way to break down individual costs once you've booked your package. But I do have an idea.

I'm not a math whiz, but I suggest you try to back into the numbers by going online and seeing the cost for your resort and tickets separately. Since no discounts are typically applied for booking a package, that should give you a general idea of costs.

I'm sending pixie dust and calculators so your upcoming visit is cost-effective, Christiana! And as I always say, that Disney magic is priceless. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
