Hi again, LuAnn! Seems like we’re destined to be friends! I am also a frequent Walt Disney World visitor from Illinois!
The
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is running extra long in 2021! It began on July 15 and will extend until November 20, 2021! Some of the festival booths will not be opening until October 1, so you chose wisely when you planned your visit.
Entrance into the festival is included with your EPCOT admission. You will want to come with an appetite, as there is SO much to sample! A few of my favorites are the “warm raclette Swiss cheese with baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguette” at The Alps booth (near Norway) and the “crispy pork belly with black beans, tomatoes, and onions” and the “Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread”, both found at the Brazil booth. A full list of delicious treats can be found
here. I usually need to plan more than one day to eat all of the things!
As far as restaurants for dinner and to view EPCOT’s new nighttime show, Harmonious, you could try to get a reservation at
La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico, or we’ve even had a view from Nine Dragons Restaurant in China. You will want to ask when you check-in for a window, and it is never guaranteed that you will get it.
While dessert parties haven’t returned quite yet, you might also keep a watchful eye out for this as an awesome Harmonious viewing option as well. We have attended a few of the EPCOT dessert parties and have never been disappointed in the desserts OR the view!
Thank you for always coming to planDisney with your questions! I love to see names that I know! I will be in Walt Disney World at the same time as you, maybe we will run into each other!
Happy Eating Around the World,
Tracy
