How much does it cost to add another adult to a room? Room reserved was for two adults and one child but a grandmother might want to join last minute. The room says sleeps 4 but when i change the adults it adds more? I but things might change

Hi there, Christina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

It’s so exciting to have three generations coming together to visit Walt Disney World Resort! I remember having a very similar question when visiting Disney’s Port Orlean’s - Riverside Resort during our Spring 2018 vacation. It was the first-time my mother-in-law was able to join us so I had to do a bit of research in order to understand how room rates worked when reserving for more than two Guests over the age of 18 years.

When staying at a Disney Resort hotel, the standard room rate includes the first two Guests over the age of 18 years and any Guests under the age of 18 years. There is a small fee associated with including more than two adults that varies based on the category of the Disney Resort hotel. Currently, this fee is $15 per additional adult at Value Resorts, $25 per additional adult at Moderate Resorts, and $35 per additional adult at Deluxe Resorts. It should be noted that these fees do not apply to Deluxe Villa Resorts or Family Suites found at certain Value Resorts and that all prices are subject to change. If you need to add an additional adult to your reservation, you can do so by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone number.

It was so incredibly magical to stay at our favorite Disney Resort hotel and be able to share everything we love about Walt Disney World Resort with my mother-in-law! I hope your family is able to have just as much fun including your grandmother in all the Disney magic!
