Hi Judy,
I just recently stayed at Coronado SPrings for the first time in many years and am very glad I did. I was not able to explore much of the resort many years ago and therefore was not aware of how beautiful and fun Coronado Springs actually is.
The resort is very family friendly and has a wonderful peacefulness to it, that is a nice reprieve form the hustle and bustle of the parks. There is a great sunny entrance area with a large gift shop, quick service counter and just down the walkway is the Pepper Market. This eatery has the feel of an outdoor food market with a number of food stations to please everyone's tastes. Table service is offered at Maya Grill and there is a limited menu available at Siesta's pool side bar.
The resort features a great health club as well as a perfect trail around the lagoon for walks and jogs. The resort has three separate leisure or quiet pools as well as the main pool and recreational are called the Dig. The pool is themed after an ancient pyramid and features a water slide, hot tub, kiddie pool and nearby playground area.
The rooms are beautifully decorated in dark wood and cream colors and most feature two full beds. Transportation to all four parks as well as Downtown Disney and the waterparks is offered via Disney buses at the four different bus stops within the resort. A great place to check for additional reviews and information n the resort id

I am sure you family will love the resort just as much as I did, Enjoy!
