Are coolers allowed in the park? Can it be put into a rentable locker?

Hiya, Millie! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. We're so glad you're here!

I'm happy to let you know that you're welcome to bring a cooler into the Disneyland Resort! The recommendation is for coolers to stay at a 6-pack size when brought into the parks. If your cooler is bigger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, you may want to rent a jumbo-sized locker located outside of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. To allow all Guests to have the best experience in the parks, please note the items that are not permitted – specifically, loose or dry ice and glass containers. Reusable ice packs are the way to go! Additionally, you'll want to make sure that the Security Cast Members are informed of any food brought in when you enter the park.

Before you arrive, take a little time to download and explore the Disneyland mobile app. This feels a little like holding a magic wand in your hand, allowing you to unlock everything that The Happiest Place on Earth has to offer! My favorite reason to use this app is to mobile order food at select locations, which is a great way to know my snacks will be ready before I ever feel a rumbly in my tumbly.

If you have any other questions, please visit us again, Millie! After all, you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
