Are coolers allowed at Disney blizzard water park?

    April,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

You absolutely can take a cooler into either of the Walt Disney World water parks! Whether you are looking to cool down at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, or you want to surf the waves at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, coolers are allowed in either water park.

There are some rules you will need to follow, like keeping your cooler no larger than 24" x 15" x 18" (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). You also are not allowed to use loose or dry ice. My family opts to use the ice packs that are re-freezable. Finally, make sure you don't have any glass containers or alcoholic beverages in your cooler. If you are looking for that blended adult beverage, there are plenty of choices at the Polar Pub!

    BONUS TIP
If you would like to plus up your water park visit, I strongly recommend you consider booking one of their reserved spaces, like the Polar Patios or the Lodge Umbrellas at Blizzard Beach. Typhoon Lagoon has similar options as well. Just call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 to make a reservation.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions, and make sure you watch the video at the bottom of this answer. You will find some great water park tips to make your day extra special.
