I converted my 2 day pass to an annual pass and activated it at guest relations outside of the park. I didn't use it to enter the park. I'm coming back in March and then I will use it. Is my expiration a year from today or March

    Hey there, Diane!

I'm so happy to welcome you to the most magical panel on Earth...planDisney! It sounds like a little celebration is in order...because you're officially a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder – Woohoo!! You've just unlocked an entire year filled with unforgettable memories, endless magic, and plenty of pixie-dusted adventures waiting around every corner!

Your Annual Pass officially becomes active the very first time you scan it to enter a Walt Disney World theme park, and it will remain valid for one full year from that activation date. If you didn't scan or use your 2-day ticket to enter a park before upgrading it, then your pass hasn't been activated yet. This means it will begin its year of magic the moment you scan in for your next visit!

Just a quick heads-up, as of right now, Annual Passholders need to have a park reservation for the day they plan to visit. The exception is after 2:00 PM, when you can enter most parks without a reservation (just keep in mind that Magic Kingdom still requires one on Saturdays and Sundays). And don't forget about those Good-to-Go Days, when no reservation is needed at all!

As an Annual Passholder, you're stepping into a whole new level of Disney fun! From discounts on select dining and merchandise to exciting limited-time offerings, this year is sure to be packed with magic, memories, and an extra sprinkle of pixie dust!

Diane, I hope this info helps as you officially join the Passholder family! If you have any other questions pop up, you're always welcome here at planDisney!
