Hello Bruce!
Welcome to planDisney. Your visit is just days away and I'm happy to help make sure you enjoy plenty of magic as soon as you arrive.
If you don't see the option to "Change Ticket" displayed next to the existing ticket in your
My Disney Experience Account, you may be able to upgrade by
contacting a Cast Member with Existing Tickets before your arrival. Keep in mind that tickets must be wholly unused and you can only modify into a ticket of equal or greater value than the one you currently have. Depending on your preferred park dates a 2-Day ticket for 1 Park Per Day does appear to be more expensive than a 1-Day Park Hopper Option ticket, so I'm hopeful you'll be able to make the change without issue.
You can also stop by the ticket window at the main entrance to any theme park to inquire about modifications. Just keep in mind that if you decide to add a day after scanning in, the
Park Hopper Option would apply to all ticketed days. I recommend contacting a Cast Member to confirm all the details before your arrival.
I'm not sure which parks you plan to visit but for me, no trip to Walt Disney World Resort is complete without a stop at Magic Kingdom Park and a stroll around EPCOT. You'll find plenty of magic awaiting no matter where you decide to spend your time, but those are always my top choices for classic attractions, fantastic food and beverage offerings, and nighttime spectaculars. The soundtracks to
Happily Ever After and
Luminous The Symphony of Us get me every time.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is also in full bloom so you won't want to miss the impressive floral displays and variety of exciting food and beverages available from the Outdoor Kitchens. I really enjoyed everything I tried on my last visit, and I'm sure you'll find a new favorite too!
Bruce, I hope this was helpful. Please come back with any additional questions as you countdown to your trip.
Magic and memories,
Amy
